Welcome! I'm Kate Bauer, the artist behind the paintings!

My love for watercolor began at age 11 when I received my first watercolor set from my grandad. From that moment on, I was fascinated by the fluid, unpredictable beauty of the medium.

I specialize in watercolor painting, with a particular passion for painting outdoors and urban sketching. There's something magical about capturing a scene in the moment, with natural light and the energy of the environment flowing into each brushstroke.

Over the years, I've won plein air competitions, and I've had the joy of sharing my knowledge and techniques with workshops online and in person.
