This piece was inspired by the Bible verse in Psalms 91:4 "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler."

I used watercolor for the face, as I felt this added to the fragility of us as humans. The sadness we feel, how we often times feel lost, or delicate. I then used acrylic for the wings, as I felt this gave the idea of strength.
This painting is a prayer, and a promise from our Lord God. I pray that this painting finds whoever it's meant to, and it brings you hope, and a feeling of safety in hard times. You will get through this. He loves you.
